Dr. Stewart’s Office Has A Magical Christmas Party

On Sunday, December 4th, Dr. Bruce Stewart’s office had our annual Christmas party, but with a magical twist! Usually an adult affair, the party this year was for families. Our staff brought either their children or grandchildren, and we had 17 adults and 25 children in attendance. Stormy the Magician made an appearance at the party and entertained young and old with his tricks and jokes. After the 45 minute Magic Show, Stormy made animal balloons for all the children. We all left with warm smiles and happy memories of children laughing and being awed by the magic.

Dr. Stewart’s Office Garden Party

What can be better than summer in Grand Rapids, Michigan? And what better way to enjoy the weather and beauty of the season than a Garden Party? That’s exactly what Dr. Stewart and out team did on Friday, July 22. We had a luncheon at our home and followed that with a tour of our gardens.

Dr. Stewart is an avid gardener and we’ve lived in the same home over 32 years, so we’ve had time to develop the gardens next to our house and surrounding the yard. Our family loves the daylilies and hostas, and we have over 75 different daylilies. Though the weather did not cooperate at first, it cleared in time for everyone to walk around the yard and determine their favorite plant. When it is time to split the daylilies and hostas, we’re planning to take some to the office for fellow gardeners amongst the staff to enjoy in their yards. We all had a great time Friday and enjoyed the shared interests and friendships away from the office.

Welcome to our blog! We plan to keep you updated on happenings at our office, both dental and social, through our blog, so check us out often.

We have a great group of people working at Dr. Bruce Stewart’s office, and we like to celebrate that as a team frequently. In February we had a team–building experience in Chicago. It culminated with a dinner in a refurbished old firehouse. The food was great, but the camaraderie and shared laughter were what made the evening.

Chicago Outing

Debbie, Judy, and Barb each have been working at our office for over 25 years! Debbie and Barb were two of Dr. Stewart’s first employees. While they both took some time away from the office when they were having their children, Debbie has been back working in our office for 25 consecutive years. Judy also celebrated 25 years of continuous service, and Barb has accumulated over 25 years of service. Our entire team celebrated with them at Amore Trattitoria in April when we had a surprise party in their honor.
